 Liverpool fielded numerous young players to get a 1-1 draw at home to Bordeaux. Although disappointed by failing to win, the Reds assessed showed positive performances.

When treated Nouveau Bordeaux at Stade de Bordeaux, Friday (18/09/2015) pm dawn, not reinforced Christian Benteke Liverpool, Lucas Leiva, Dejan Lovren, Martin Skrtel, James Milner, and Nathaniel Clyne were rested. Captain Jordan Henderson also still sidelined with injury.
Not playing these players give opportunity to young players such as Jordan Rossiter (18), Jordon Ibe (19 years), and Divock Origi (20 years) to appear as a starter. Joe Gomez (18 years) which appear regularly at the start of this season also played from the first minute. Meanwhile, Pedro Chirivella (18) and Cameron Brannagan (19 years) gets its debut in this match.
Liverpool went ahead after Adam Lallana Bordeaux goalkeeper in the 65th minute. However, they could not maintain the lead. In the 81st minute, Bordeaux equalized through Jussie shot. 1-1 score did not change until the game was over.
"Before the game, we may receive one point. However, we were disappointed. They scored with the remaining five or 10 minutes," said Lallana told BT Sport.
"A number of young players performed very well. Pedro Chirivella when he entered the field and Jordan Rossiter brilliant," said Lallana.
"This is a positive performance. We lost the last two games in the Premier League and now have to get back to winning ways," he continued.
"We had a hard game on Sunday to against Norwich, so we need another good performance and have to make sure we win," said Lallana.
